G.I.H.S.C has been established for 10 years rising from the ashes of the original franchise with the principle aim of seeing Ice Hockey continue in Guildford and ensuring that the humble supporter was not forgotten.
GIHSC’s remit is to “Promote and provide active support for professional ice hockey in Guildford”

GIHSC support the Flames organisation financially through the 50/50 draws, 200 Club and the Sponsorship grids. In addition we run a programme of social events for supporters club members such as the “Meet the players” pre-season Barbeque, Quiz nights & parties etc.

We also produce our own fanzine “fire on Ice” which is free to members or available to non-members for £1. Fire on Ice as been featured discussion topics like Mark Pallister v Pedro the Blackpool Donkey” and the now much copied “Fantasy roughing league”

Apart from the general support we give to the Flames, the Supporters Club run fund raising and social activities throughout the season. We regularly raise over £12,000 per year for the team. Take a look at some of the things we organise

GIHSC take great pride in sponsoring the end of season awards for the "Best British Player" and "Player of the year". Both awards being made solely on votes cast by GIHSC members.
Details of all winners of these awards are given on the "Hall of Fame” page.

Please read our code of conduct and try to abide by the spirit of it during games both at home and away.
